Tambuti Lodge

Tambuti is the best accommodation experience I think I've ever had. Better than any 4* or 5* hotel that I've stayed at, so truly exceptional. The warmth of the welcome, the attention to detail, the thoughtfulness and care - all were just wonderful. Plus we had tremendous food and drink, a beautiful building and location, and a marvellous guided safari experience. Very intimate (just 5 suites) and outstanding in every respect.

Everything was perfect!! Probably the best hotel experience we ever had! Perfect welcoming, extremely friendly staff (without being too much), beautiful outside areas with amazing atmosphere created with oil lamps and candles, great experience on the fire pit over a drink and a great chat upon arrival from game drive, spotless pool area. Loved the “mi casa, tu casa” concept where we could help ourselves to the open bar. The sleeping room was beautiful and spotless clean. The food was amazing and the chefs really friendly, the high teas phenomenal…… we could go on and on and on about Tambuti. Go do yourselves a favour a book this lodge!

The food here was absolutely incredible!!!! Chef Edith spoilt us with the most amazing meals every single day and even made us a special something on the day of our departure. The staff went above and beyond on everything! Chef Edi, Marcia the assistant manager and Malcolm the general manager in particular made our stay one we will never ever forget - however every single member of their team we engaged with were really a pleasure! Their guest interaction is 5 star!! The units are beautiful - very spacious, clean and so so tranquil. This is the perfect spot for a couples get away! The attention to detail on the little things is really special! The turn down service with a piece of fudge on your pillow every night was a sweet gesture! We had a private candle light dinner and a bubble bath on our first night's stay for our 10 year anniversary. This was so so special! The amount of incredible sightings we had on every single game drive was spectacular!

Everything from the welcome to the end! All the people are so happy and excited! It was a wonderful stay! The chefkok was amazing 🤩 The guide was so helpful and informative about the animals and we saw the BIG 5!! He did al the best to see with us as most as possible. The host was kind and will do anything to make it comfortable for us. My wife was pregnant and they did everything to make it comfortable for us!! Don’t hesitate to book here!!

A very good lodge, Everything was fine, very friendly and recommended at any time. The staff are a dream here, you are really welcomed. The food was also perfect. The safari is also highly recommended here as the guide is very experienced. we will definitely come again. Andre´ Top accommodation
